Short Family Farms LLC. is a newly formed farm in Maricopa County. We are a small startup focused on quality products. We currently sell nest run chicken and quail eggs. Additional products will be added soon.
Current Products
We are registered nest run egg producer in the State of Arizona. We sell primarily in northern Maricopa County but can sell throughout the entire state of Arizona.
Chicken Eggs
We offer colorful Nest Run Chicken Eggs from our flock of birds that have a more natural diet.
Quail Eggs
We offer coturnix quail eggs for eating. Quantities of these are still limited as we have not finished our facilities to be able to expand our layer flock.

Whole Meat Birds
We are currently working through the regulatory requirements and growing out some test batches to ensure a quality product.
Pork, Whole and Half
We are researching vendors, breeds, and best practices for raising pigs for meat. We intend to sell the meat as either a whole or half.
Quail
We are building up our quail facilities and increasing our stock to be able to offer additional products. Possible products could include meat, live birds, hatching eggs, and/or reptile feed.
Hatching Experience
Want to experience the joy of watching the hatching process? What to provide your kids with an educational experience? We are putting together a kit to provide all the needed equipment and educational information to provide this experience.

What is Nest Run Eggs?
Net Run Eggs are Unwashed and Ungraded eggs from small producers. These producers are registered with the Arizona Dept of Agriculture
Are your Chickens cage free?
Our chickens are kept in either a large chicken run or in an electric fence to protect them from natural predators in our area. They have continuous access to the outside, native bushes, dirt, and insects. to escape the elements, they have access to protected nesting boxes and roosts.
What are your chickens fed?
Our chickens have a continuous supply of layer feed pellets usually from a local farm store. However, we believe a natural diet for a chicken is not limited to pellets alone, so our chickens regularly get fruits, vegetables, greens, and meats to supplement regular feed.
Do you ship your products
At this time, we do not ship any of our products. We also cannot sell our products outside of Arizona
What Breeds do you have?
We have a variety of breeds for our chicken flock including white leghorns, Bard Rocks, Easter Eggers, Isa Browns, Rhode Island Reds, with additional breeds being added soon.
